Had a wonderful experience at Mahi hospital. Even though they are in the middle of shifting to the new hospital, they still made sure to honor my Hydra Supreme appointment, which truly shows how committed they are to their word and patients. A special mention to Nancy, who did my procedure so beautifully. She was extremely friendly, kind, and made me feel very comfortable throughout. We went for our daughter’s treatment and doctor was very professional. He didn’t ask to take all the test at once, rather started with an x-ray when something got confirmed then asked to do the required tests. Also doesn’t enforces to do it in a specific lab. He also took an opinion with our pediatrician on the medication. Overall satisfied with treatment and care provided by Dr. VIJAY KUMAR SOHANLAL.

Dr Vijay did the shoulder acromioplasty for my mother. The whole process was extremely pleasant. She’s doing quite well and getting better each day. I visited and consulted Dr.Vijaykumar Sohanlal for my 85 years old Mother-in-law for her hip joint ball replacement surgery purpose. This Doctor was great, Knowledgeable and his advice made me feel at ease and decided for surgery without any second thought.

One of the finest doctor. My dad undergone total knee replacement surgery under Dr Vijay Kumar Sohanlal. Excellent way to explain patient the whole procedure. My dad is scared of even getting an simple IM injection but just because of the trust shown by Dr Vijay sir he agreed to his words and got convinced for surgery. The surgery went on well and the motivation given by Dr vijay to get up on his legs immediately the next day after surgery was unbelievable.
Dr vijay personally made sure that my dad gets up and start to walk.

I recently had my father-in-law bilateral TKR got done by this amazing doctor Dr. Vijay Kumar Sohanlal. We consulted him through word of mouth, but the way he encouraged my FIL and motivated him for the surgery is commendable. The attitude of the doctor is that he is very down to earth. He treats every patient as his own family and responds to every text and call, so good of him. The doctors confidence in our FIL has brought courage to us during his post surgery period. We went to Dr.Vijaykumar for my mother’s knee replacement on both knees. He gave good consultation and took very good care of my mother. The operation was done well and was successful. Post recovery is also going on well (now it is 2 weeks into post surgery recovery). His advise has been very crucial and positive. He handles the patients in a friendly and answers all questions asked. He even showed a sample of the knee implants. He visited post surgery on a daily basis and also he was there during physiotherapy sessions. No hidden costs and we did it at MGM hospital on Nelson manickam road. Visited Dr. VIJAY for knee replacement surgery in both legs for my mother. It was done as planned. It was a trouble free experience getting the knee replacement done. All follow ups and treatment after the surgery were seamlessly planned and executed without the hassle of having to follow up for anything. Got my mother properly treated and discharged within 7 days as per the plan. In 7 days, my mother is able to walk and move with some assistance and have full hope of her being able to walk and move independently in coming weeks.

He is a very friendly and experienced doctor and answered all queries before and during the treatment with patience. Would highly recommend him for orthopedic surgeries. After getting discharged, I had to take my mother for staples removal but the home lift was not working so I was unable to take my mother to the clinic. Dr. Vijay was kind enough and had the contacts to arrange for stitch removal at home, very thankful to him for that.

He also has good, polite physiotherapists in his team. Had a very good experience with the physiotherapist that he arranged for home visit for knee exercises for my mother.
